Iron Man Poem Revised
The sky collapsed,
I screamed your name but you were out of sight,
You spread your wings and took flight,
My angel in the night,
I sit in silence like a lost pigeon in the park.
My brain screams!
Lately I've been running from the dark,
Broken hearts and chest pains are tearing me,
Stabbing at the spine,
Wounding every body part,
I'm Paralyzed and Can't sleep with rivers in my eyes,
I hit rock bottom every time I'm about rise,
Silent cries, Suffocating, where is my mind?
Raindrops leave me blind.
Am I stuck in the time?
I lost my noodle like I saw the writings on the wall,
No wonder why the dead of winter comes after fall,
We got to crawl in a cocoon before we learn to fly,
We got hit the ground just to reach for the sky,
You led me to the light and steered me out the crowd,
So I vow to be my best,
I promise I will make you proud.
